The Football Association of Denmark to host their local dissemination event on 25 September

The Football Association of Denmark, DBU, will host a dissemination event on 25 September in Brøndby. The event will be open to all interested.

In respect to the EU-project ACCESS, The Danish Football Association (DBU) is happy to announce that their local dissemination event will take place on 25 September, at the Danish Sport Federation (Danmarks Idræts Forbund) premises in Brøndby.

There will be a number of keynote speakers and an interactive session on how to engagement the sports community with stakeholders on Circular Economy principles. The event will serve as a great opportunity for showcasing the work and findings of the Danish FA has been doing under the ACCESS framework and elaborate on best way forward.

The meeting will welcome clubs, sport organisations and technical partners in the ACCESS project, namely the Welsh Football Association, FC Porto and the Irish GAA.

Speakers will include Paul Broberg, the Danish Sport Federation’s Head of Public Affairs, Sanne Stephensen, the Head of Sustainability at Roskilde music Festival, Ann Lykke Davidsen, the Danish Handball Association’s Communication Director, and Anders Kjær, Head of sustainability, DBU.

The opening session will be followed by a discussion on community engagement, a joint lunch and an optional site visit to Brøndby stadium.

09.00 – 11.00: Welcome by Anders Kjaer (DBU) and Ernest Kovacs (ACR+) followed by interventions:

• Green commitment in a sport context; Trine Sørensen, Public Affairs (DIF)
• 365 Volunteers; Sanne Stephensen, Head of Sustainability (Roskilde Music Festival)
• Danish Handball engagement with green sustainability; Ann Lykke Davidsen, Communication Director (Dansk Håndbold)
• Green fan engagement project; Anders Kjær, Head of Sustainability, (DBU)

11.00 – 12.00: Interactive discussion and dissemination session
